What is a pre-authorization on my credit card?
When placing an order with LAPP Tannehill, your order will be pre-authorized on your credit card, which reserved funds for a future payment transaction.
A pre-authorization hold typically lasts about five days, although it may differ depending on the type of credit card you have.
During the hold time frame, funds are not available to you, the customer.
Even though the funds cannot be accessed in your account, no money has been debited from your account in the pre-authorization stage, it’s just on hold or reserved.
When your order has been shipped and invoiced, the funds are then captured, which means your card was charges.
You must contact your credit card bank if having any issues with the pre-authorization, we cannot make any changes on your card.
